I am an electronic engineer (they told me so).

I worked for six years in a loudspeaker firm ending as R&D responsible.

I got bored (well, just a little).

I joined the Mechanical Department (<- use IE5 for this link) of the University of Ancona as a Research Engineer.

I play with laser vibrometers to measure vibrations and with IR cameras to measure heat. My main interest is non-invasive diagnostic of the conservation state of frescoes and icons (please visit the pages of our EC project, LASERART) I finished my contract as a research engineer and now I am aPh. D. student.  Almost 40 and still a student....
